I love this camera! You should have no concerns about Amazon sending recall Nikon D5000 cameras. I got mine last week and it is not among the recall serial numbers.If they would send the cameras were withdrawn, they are no longer. The only "con" I have is that it does not fit the hand as good as the Nikon D40, which I wrote intensify D5000. .

The sound is good, and considering it's only 2 AAA's it really isn't too bad there either.I have seen similar speakers, which require only 4 AA, or nearly 4 D batteries. I would reccommend however that you get rechargeable batteries..

Bought this for my new Canon T1i with the kit lens and it suffices very well.Has enough room for extra batteries, memory cards, charger, filter kit and a few other small items.One thing I think this is a problem you cannot Fit any other lenses. I bought this because I didnt want to ding the brand new camera up while traveling, and i'm not one to carry around a separate camera bag...my friends would have a field day with this. That being said, if you have a lens bigger than a 18-55, I would think about going another route.To protect the camera kit, a very good case, but nothing to warrant a different size bags have large. .
